Agreed, but this case when the aggregates have sharp edges is rare. We propose that they are formed under thin film preparation on the late step of drying. But aggregates forming in a solution do not look like as similar bricks although they have the close sizes. The shape and surface of the latter apparently strongly depend on microstructure of the corresponding water-organic solution. So, applying SNOM or AFM or similar microscopy would be very useful for the study. Alexander
